ESTECO is a supplier of integration, simulation, optimization technology and consulting services for the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and life science industry. The company was created in 1999 to exploit the knowledge acquired from a European Union sponsored project on design optimization (FRONTIER), which was then converted into a successful commercial product. ESTECO counts today with more than 55 employees. The Head Quarters of the company is located in Italy, while it has distributor offices covering Europe, Asia and the Americas.

ESTECO's main product is modeFRONTIER, a software environment that allows product engineers and designers to integrate their CAE tools, such as CAD, Finite Element Structural Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software into a multi-disciplinary and automatic process flow. Using a variety of state-of-the-art robust optimization techniques, the process or design of interest can be optimized by specifying objectives and defining variables that affect factors such as geometric shape and operating conditions. ESTECO also develops SOMO, an enterprise collaborative and distributed execution framework aimed at managing the complexity of running multidisciplinary design projects based in modeFRONTIER technology. The third main product developed by ESTECO is BeePMN, a web platform for editing and executing BPMN processes, which provides the usually missing link between business process and engineering
