ESI Group is a pioneer and world-leading solution provider in virtual prototyping for manufacturing industries that takes into account the physics of materials. ESI has developed an extensive suite of coherent, industry-oriented applications to realistically simulate a product’s behaviour during testing, to fine-tune manufacturing processes in accordance with desired product performance, and to evaluate the environment’s impact on performance. ESI’s solutions fit into a single collaborative and open environment for End-to-End Virtual Prototyping, thus eliminating the need for physical prototypes during product development. The company employs about 1100 high-level specialists worldwide covering more than 30 countries.
Dr. Patrick de Luca is the Manager of Composite End to End Virtual Prototyping Center of Excellence and Innovation department. Patrick de Luca has more than 25 years of experience in managing research and development projects for composite manufacturing and performance simulation. He is leading innovation projects through Co-Creation process with industry partners. ESI team responsible to perform the different tasks is organized within the European Centres of Excellences.
Morgane Perrin-Blondel has more than 5 years of experience in composite and fluid structure interaction and has collaborated in the MAPICC3D FP7 European project listed beellow.
Dr. Sebastian Müller holds a PhD in computational mechanics with a specialization in composite modelling. Before joining ESI, Sebastian worked as a research fellow at the Technical University Dresden (Germany) and was assigned to various composite related research projects.
